S.A.V.Y's commitment and service to girls has led to recognized achievements for the organization and Co-Founders.  Highlights include:

September 2009, S.A.V.Y, Co-Founder, Executive Director appears on Trinity Broadcasting Network, Public Affairs Program – “Joy In Our Town”
Joy In Our Town is a 30 minute program that examines a wide range of community issues affecting adults and youth in the NYC, New Jersey, Connecticut and Hudson county areas.  Joy In Our Town highlights organizations and individuals who have responded to a need in their community and have the information and resources to empower viewers to make educated decisions and participate in these outlets.

January 2009 – Recipients of The Concord Baptist Christ Fund. In 1988, the Christ Fund was established to support the uplift of Central Brooklyn’s neighborhoods and people. It was the first such fund created by an African American congregation, and it was made possible by the sacrificial and faithful giving of the people of Concord Church. March 2008, Ebony Magazine/The Makers of Pine Sol Cleaners Sisterspeak Luncheon

November 2007, Ebony Magazine and the Makers of Pine-Sol Cleaners gave recognition to Co-Founders Kimberly Nichols and Theda Rose as "Un-Sung Heroes" Honorees.  This honor recognized African-American women in New York City who are making a difference for our children, schools and communities.

July 2007, Trace Magazine recognized Co-Founders Kimberly Nichols and Theda Rose in the Trace Global Community.  This section highlighted women from around the world who are impacting lives with their good deeds. 

October 2005, New York Newsday, Community Champions Award. Recognized the work of S.A.V.Y.

September 2004, BET.COM, S.A.V.Y's Co-Founder and Executive Director, Kimberly Nichols was featured as one of BET. COM˙s Community Jewels: Corporate Women Who Shine.
