Network, Public Affairs Program – “Joy In Our Town”
Joy In Our Town is a 30 minute program that examines a wide
range of community issues affecting adults and youth in the NYC, New
Jersey, Connecticut and Hudson county areas. Joy In Our Town
highlights organizations and individuals who have responded to a
need in their community and have the information and resources to
empower viewers to make educated decisions and participate in these
outlets.

of The Concord Baptist Christ Fund. In 1988, the Christ Fund was
established to support the uplift of Central Brooklyns neighborhoods
and people. It was the first such fund created by an African American
congregation, and it was made possible by the sacrificial and faithful
