S.A.V.Y-Successful and Victorious Youth, Inc. is a national youth development organization whose mission is to inspire teen girls to reach their full potential and motivate them towards excellence.

Co-Founders, Kimberly Nichols and Theda Rose, Ph.D. are hearing the voices of teen girls and offering them an outlet to connect with, where their voices will be heard and they can be developed in personal growth, leadership and life skills.

S.A.V.Y’s Inspire Me to ExcellenceTM  initiative promotes girl’s positive self-esteem, girl’s positive development and empowers teen girls to set high standards for themselves in every area of their lives and in all they aspire to do because our girls are not mediocre.

The organizations goals are to engage teen girls through a variety of methods that supports the multiplicity of needs and challenges teen girls are facing today.

Methods
S.A.V.Y desires to bridge the gap between the services the school is able to provide and the surmountable needs of teen girls.  S.A.V.Y’s Inspire Me to ExcellenceTM school based initiative is a model designed to serve teen girls through after school based group sessions.

S.A.V.Y’s Inspire Me to Excellence, E-Mentoring initiative connects with teen girls and gives them access to receive safe and secured practical personal growth and life skills support through innovative technology based interaction—e-mail, e-journal communication and social media.

The following are things needed by girls in order to be successful and strive for excellence:
  • Girls need to feel safe
  • Girls need time to talk in nurturing conversations with ongoing positive relationships
  • Girls need programs that encourage relationships of trust and non judgment
  • Girls need relationships with positive women
  • Girls need their personal and cultural strengths emphasized
  • Girls need education about their bodies and making wise decisions
  • Girls need to be positively affirmed
